Who We Are
Alpha Delta Phi is the oldest Greek letter fraternity at the University of Washington and we pride ourselves on being a preeminent organization on campus for nearly 100 years. Our emphasis is on developing the whole man; social, moral and Intellectual. That philosophy has propelled our philanthropy to raise over $100,000 benefiting Seattle Children's Hospital and that same philosophy is what secured us the #1 cumulative GPA of all fraternities at the University of Washington this past year.
Our Values
At Alpha Delta Phi we believe that hazing serves only to weaken the bond shared between brothers and erodes the foundation on which the fraternity system was built. Furthermore, it is through partnerships with organizations such as the WAVE foundation that we strive to make the Greek system safer and more accessible for all. The cultural overhaul of America's greek system is happening here and we are proud to be leaders in it.
Update on COVID-19 and Measures Taken to Keep Our Members Safe:
At Alpha Delta Phi, the safety and wellbeing of our members is of paramount concern. As we continue to strive on in the battle against COVID-19 within our Greek community, our chapter has taken proactive measures to prevent our brothers and their families from getting sick. In order to reduce the spread of the virus, the chapter house will be operating at a very limited capacity for the duration of Spring Quarter. Though most of our members are home, we take pride in accommodating those who rely on our facility as a primary living space and have offered space to those who need it. Over the past month and a half, the undergraduate executive council and the local alumni board have worked tirelessly to establish a robust plan to combat the spread of this virus. In these ever-changing circumstances, we are continuing to modify this plan to ensure that it is in accordance with federal law and recommended procedures from medical professionals. If you would like to hear from us directly about these procedures, please reach out to us directly via the "Contact" page. On behalf of the entire undergraduate chapter, I wish you and your family good health during this time of uncertainty.
Best,
Brooks Lierle – Chapter President
